Cefuroxime Sodium Injection is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat a variety of conditions such as Lyme disease; infections of the ears, lungs, urinary tract, etc. caused by bacteria. This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a history of kidney diseases.This medication is given by injection into a muscle or vein as directed by your doctor, usually every 8 hours. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.

Susceptible mild to moderate infections including pharyngitis/tonsillitis, acute maxillary sinusitis, chronic bronchitis, acute otitis media, uncomplicated skin and skin structure, UTIs, gonorrhea, early Lyme disease.
